CS:GO skins have their own market and are worth millions of dollars every year. This Tuesday (June 21, 2022), according to the expert ohnePixel, the world's most expensive inventory, valued at more than 2 million dollars (~1.9M euros), was stolen. Some of the skins have already been exchanged by the criminal.
According to ohnePixel, the owner of the inventory is believed to be the player nicknamed Caseapia, also known as HFB. The hacker changed his email and Steam password a week ago. It contained some of the rarest skins in the game, such as several AWP - Dragon Lore Souvenirs and a starless Karambit Vanilla, a unique skin on CSGO.
Reactions on Twitter
OhnePixel said that half of the set has already been sold, while the other half is still in the pirate's account, waiting for the end of the lock on the items, the Trade Lock, to sell them.
$2,000,000+ in CS:GO skins have been hacked and stolen (some items getting moved/sold as we speak)
this is the most expensive inventory all-time, containing the most legendary items in CS:GO history (7x souvenir dragon lores, no-star karambit, #1 blue gems)@CSGO @Steam pic.twitter.com/d80miZorNh

The fact has already resonated with the global community and ohnePixel, along with other users, has tagged CS:GO's Twitter and Steam profiles to help HFB recover the items.
In response to ohnePixel's post, another Twitter profile called CrystalChris said that Steam support is apparently already working to resolve the issue, as it manually bans those who have purchased the stolen items from HFB.
Seems like Steam support is manually banning people (temporarily?) who bought the stolen items of HFB to solve this issue. Never thought I would witness something like that!

Anomalya streamer and youtuber on Counter Strike also reacted to the news. Very present in the world of csgo skins, the streamer says he is quite pessimistic about the recovery of skins by HFB.
Rumors that the biggest CSGO collector ever, HFB, has been hacked. Millions of dollars in his inventory... very scary. Let's see what happens to the situation in the upcoming days. 😐
